William has served over 20 years as a decorated Marine Officer, mainly flying in F/A-18D Hornets for most of his career. Born in South Carolina, he has traveled all over the world for work and to explore. He is a father of three wonderful boys and a precious little girl. After being diagnosed with cancer (myeloma) and suffering a catastrophic back injury that left him unable to walk for some time, William changed the focus of his life. The focus shifted to a life of greater service to others and the desire to be impactful with his words and actions. This desire spawned some of the projects noted, fueled his drive for more education, and guided him to help today’s youth as well as adults. A lover of God, Photography, Learning, Salsa Dancing, Crossfit, and Entrepenuership, William uses his talents and gifts to “be the change you wish to see in this world”… It takes a village to raise a child and the village needs its chiefs.
